On Exact WKB Analysis for Painleve Equations

• We consider Painleve equations P_J from the viewpoint of exact WKB analysis. It is shown that P_J has formal solutions with exponential perturbative terms as well as formal power series solutions. Taking account of these solutions, we introduce the notion of "turning points" and "Stokes curves" for P_J and discuss the connection formula for P_I the simplest Painleve equation. We also derive some reduction theorem in which the other Painleve equations are locally transformed to P_I.
