We investigate the dynamical evolution of a 7-dimensional Kaluza-Klein space-time which oscillates anisotropical1y. Our model has the spatial manifold of a direct product of a flat three space and a group manifold of SO(3). Using the Hamiltonian formalism and numerical computations for this dynamical system, we show that the chaotic behavior of the scale factors cannot occur unless the flat three space is static.
