Primary Projectile Fragmentation Distribution in High Energy Heavy Ion Collisions

We have studied the primary projectile fragmentation distributions in high energy heavy ion collisions in the framework of the nuclear cascade model. We find a large number of proton-rich nuclei produced due to the Coulomb barrier for protons, which suppresses emission of low energy protons.
