We propose a model lagrangian for hadrons, where the scale invariance is introduced to the phenomenologically successful Nambu and Jona-Lasinio model in terms of the glueball color singlet field χ. The dynamical change of the χ field from the condensation value χ_0 in the interior region to zero in the exterior region naturally leads to confinement of quarks within hadrons. We discuss the consequence of this model on the deconfinement of quarks and the chiral phase transition at finite density and temperature.
