• Using the wounded nucleon model, we investigate the experimental data of the transverse energy (E_T) distribution in ^<16>O-Pb and proton-Au collisions obtained by the NA35 Collaboration at the CERN-SPS. It is shown that the large E_T distribution in the ^<16>O-Pb collisions is over what is expected from the proton-Au data.
