The thermodynamics of SST-II and heterotic string theory are studied and applied to the evolution of the universe. The free energy is calculated in the case that the space-time is Minkowski_d × Torus_<(10-d)>. Furthermore, the Einstein equation is applied to it and some cosmological conditions are investigated with respect to the above results.
