A new compound nucleus, which we call a time compound nucleus, is introduced to analyze general features of high energy nuclear reactions. The compound nucleus resonates in a Lorenzian form as a function of time delay of reaction. Two time compound states characterized by time widths τ_1=9.6×10^<-24> sec and τ_2=2.0×10^<-23> sec are identified by the comparison with experimental angular-energy-spectra of fragments of nuclear reactions. We estimate that the compound states consist of about 20 baryons.
