Phenomenological analysis of meson multiples is made on the OZI rule. It is observed that the color gluon model of QCD is not consistent with the results of the analysis of mixing patterns and decay modes of neutral mesons. Hence a new model is proposed to understand the violation mechanism of OZI rule. In this model, the existence of spineless bosons (J^<PC>=0^<++> and 0^<-+>), being color and flavor singlets, is assumed in addition to the color gluons which bind quarks. To violation of OZI rule is supposed to be dominated by the hypothetical bosons, so this model is consistent qualitatively with experiment. The validity of OZI rule for the ψ family is understood in this model, instead of the asymptotic freedom in QCD, by a strong reduction of an overlapping region of wave functions cc^- and q_αq^-_α states (q_α=u, d or s), due to the large difference between their effective masses.
