In order to introduce a mechanism to induce the anomalous muon mass, a quadratic strong interaction between the intermediary weak boson and the muon is proposed. By taking account of the lepton-baryon symmetry, the same quadratic interaction between the weak boson and the strange particles is introduced. It is assumed that it is responsible for the breakdown of the SU(3) symmetries in hadrons. This interaction scheme is found to be consistent with experiment. It is concluded that the large mass of the weak boson is naturally obtainable. As a consequence of the interactions, the shift of the muon's g factor from the purely electromagnetic one is found to be ~4×10^<-6>. Experimental tests of the interaction are discussed and the branching ratios of the decays K^<(+-0)>→π^<(+-0)> μ^+μ^- and K_<1^0>→μ^+μ^- are evaluated.
