One-Loop Renormalization of the 4D Quantum Dilaton Gravity in Spherically Symmetric Background

We study one-loop renormalization in the most general metric-dilaton theory with second derivative only. In the constant background dilaton theory, there are two types of gravity backgrounds which make the theory renormalizable at the one-loop level. We show this concretely and discuss the spherical symmetric background.
