We have evaluated the decay rates ω's and the asymmetry parameters α's of nonleptonic hyperon decays, assuming the unitary symmetry scheme and the predominance of 1-, 8-, 10-, 10^*-and 27-dimensional baryon and boson poles. In RP invariant case, we can obtain a relation A_Λ=-√<3> A_0 if 10 dimensional scalar boson term is absent. From this relation together with α_0=-1 and α_+=α_-=0, our model gives the following satisfactory results; τ_<Σ^->=1.6×10^<-10> sec, τ_<Ξ^->=2.0×10^<-10> sec, α_Λ=0.48, α_Ξ^-=-0.55, γ_Λ>0, and γ_<Ξ^->>0, where the value of τ_Λ=2.5×10^<-10> sec is used. We have also discussed the non-RP invariant case and presented the two examples of solutions which are roughly consistent with the experimental data. The present status of the experimental data seems to be still too uncertain to get a definite answer to the validity of RP invariance.
