概要

• We assume that there is a quantum mechanical system at each point of the space-time, and on this assumption we can precisely construct the quantum theory of free fields. This theory is mathematically meaningful, and contains a theory which is completely equivalent to the usual one from the physical standpoint. Especially the physical meaning and the mathematical contents of field operators are clarified.
