We study the s-and t-channel helicity conservation hypotheses in πN→A_1N reaction. It is shown that the main properties of density matrices for this reaction can be explained well by using the t-channel helicity conservation hypothesis and the hypothesis of the Pomeron dominance. Requiring the factorization theorem for s-channel helicity conservation in the nucleon vertex, we obtain the following scattering amplitude : T_<πN→A_1N>=(e・q_π)K_μu^^-γ_μu However, this amplitude does not mean the s-channel helicity conservation.
