The spin susceptibility of the excitonic state in metal is calculated. We assume that the Fermi surfaces of the electron and the hole are equivalent. In the pure limit the spin susceptibility decreases rapidly in the excitonic state and vanishes at T=0伊 for the singlet excitonic state, while only the parallel spin susceptibility is affected by the transition for the triplet excitonic state. The effects of both nomagnetic and magnetic impurities on the spin susceptibility are also considered.
