The possibility of the formation of superheavy nuclides in the nuclear region around Z=114 and N=184 is investigated by using the model of r-process nucleosynthesis. The r-process is calculated by introducing various types of fission phenomena. It becomes clear that the superheavy nuclides of A≳290 can be synthesized on the neutron capture path under the condition of higher neutron number density than that given by the equation: N_n(cm^<-3>)=7.520^<23>T_9^<14.62>, where the T_9 is the temperature in units of 10^9伊. The abundances after the cooling of the r-process are also calculated, and it becomes clear that a large amount of superheavy nuclides can exist even after the arrival at the beta-stability line. The above condition is rather loose for the r-process and hence the superheavy nuclides can be produced in many types of astronomical objects, although the situation may be changed if the effect of the spontaneous fission from excited levels is included at high temperature.
