We propose a method for modification of the usual Veneziano model. This method is based on the fact that only to satisfy the high energy behaviour, one can add the nonleading terms to the usual Veneziano amplitudes. This modified amplitude for pion-nucleon scattering is shown to give a reasonable approximation to nature with regard to low energies, as well as the forward and backward scattering at high energies.
