We investigate a possible existence of muon number and flavor changing neutral currents in the framework of baryon-lepton, symmetry model. We formulate an SU(2)×U(1) gauge theory, as a minimal model, for the model in which the quarks are supposed to be composite particles of leptons and mesons b. The scheme contains six leptons with two more charged (heavy) leptons in addition to the ordinary four. The model here works in such a way that the coupling constants are defined to be the same for both the lepton and quark currents which change the quantum numbers. We show that a strength of order l0<-4> for the quantum number changing neutral currents compared with the ordinary neutral current is still consistent with the, present upper bounds for muon number and strangeness changing processes. Relevant problems are also discussed.
