The 68A MeV ^<11>Li+p scattering data are reanalysed in a microscopic framework. The real, imaginary and transition potentials are constructed in a single folding model using an isospin, density and momentum dependent finite-range effective nucleon-nucleon interaction and several microscopic ^<11>Li density distribution prescriptions for ^<11>Li. The transition density is formulated in a soft-dipole resonance mode(SDR)by modifying the Goldhaber-Teller (G-T)model. Analyses of the angular distribution of the 1.3 MeV excited state gives a result consistent with SDR excitation in ^<11>Li with significant channel coupling effect.
