A possible mechanism is proposed to modify the nuclear lifetime. When ^<133>Cs (81 keV) planted in a compound is placed at the center of two parallel silicon plates of thickness 0.5cm separated by 1.0 mm, its lifetime 6.27 ns turns out to be prolonged by 2.5 % and 5.1 % at 78 K and 〜 0 K, respectively.
