In the present work Brueckner calculations with a microscopic 3BF for isospin ANM have been presented. The results show that β^2 power is still the leading order in the isospin corrections up to high density. This confirms the central role of the symmetry energy in the study of isospin effects in nuclear physics and astrophysics. However the TBF has a strong influence on the density dependence of the symmetry energy, which deviates from the 2BF prediction as increasing density. Our quantitative estimate of E_sym is supported by dynamical simulations on the isospin fractionation and isospin scaling in multifragmentation events of HIC.
