At present, in the community various resources are going to have not single function, but complex functions and form a network. In this paper I will show that the school could be a place of interchange between residents and students, and play a part of a community center, where the school will have various functions and become a center of the network of regional and social resources. In this perspective I will focus on a role of the school in volunteer community and think about a direction to which "voluntary social welfare" will be proceeding. Then I would explicate that voluntary involvement has non-professional and non-family "relationship" and it could play an important part in opening regional space including school space.
