Many warehouses are located around the Ibaragi Interchange and Kita-Osaka Commercial Distribution Center, and along the Yodo river right bank. Easy access to transportation and availability of land can be locational conditions. Textiles, foodstuff, electric machinery, medicine and paper are mainly stored. Originating abroad and nationwide, the stored items are distributed nationwide, as well as to the Western Japan and the Kansai area. The type of storage is diversified, such as storage at the places of consumption and production, and storage in transit. It is noteworthy that the inland area has a function of the port area where items in transit are stored.
