Language is the major of effective communication. It is said that we'll have to improve speech communication from using words to real communication. Using the Language Laboratory, teachers must inevitably measure and evaluate the speaking and hearing abilities of students. Teachers investigate each student's past record, intelligence quotient, and general English ability before starting to use the Language Laboratory. The result of the investigation of student's I.Q has proved that the verbal factor has a powerful effect on their speaking ability. I found that there was little relationship between their aptitude and intelligence quotient. The teacher had better examine the correct English pronunciation by giving several interview tests and recording tests for a couple of semesters, even though they have a lot of class work in which to listen to them. Evaluation is a part of teaching and an element of the system for good learning. My aim is to study and learn how to evaluate the Language Laboratory teaching in order to help students improve their English.
