Quasisimilar Solutions of Blast Waves

The quasisimilarity theory, which is useful to predict the flow pattern of blast waves with moderate strength, is introduced and detailed calculations are carried out. Based on these results, an approximate formula is presented, by which structures and propagations of the blast waves are described analytically. The results are compared with other theoretical and experimental data, and the validity of this theory is discussed.
