An application is presented of the method of series truncation to conical flow problem. Several flow fields around conical bodies without axial symmetry at supersonic speeds are solved approximately by this method. The numerical results are satisfactory. Knowledge about flow fields for various conical bodies having cross-sections of pseudo-quadrangular, pseudo-triangular and lip-like shapes is obtained by the procedure of replacing the body surface by a streamline in the flow solved by the method of truncation.
