The observational method in the human sciences is classified into the following two methods . One method is an objective observational method from the outside. The other method is a subjective observational method from the inside. Since there is a big difference between these two methods, we can not observe the real aspect to promote mutual understanding scientifically. To improve the two conflicting methods we study forced oscillations of a swing model as an open system of resonance observation and have proposed a method of interactive observation in the human sciences, When give nexternal time-dependent force are applied to the swing system by an observer the resonance behavior of the system is investigated from a viewpoint of mutual energy exchange, i.e. a mutual signal exchange. With no loss of generality, the observer gives harmonically oscillating driving forces to the swing system and experiences the resonant response of the system as he slowly varies the driving frequency. Then, the observer and man sitting on the swing have common resonance cognition through the experience ofresonance, which we define the principle of resonance cognition. According to the principle we can estimate that the driving frequency of the observer to the swing is equivalent to the characteristic frequency of the man sitting on the swing. Observational theory corresponds closely to epistemology in the human science, because the observer (or the speaker) and a man (or a listener) are equivalent to the sublect of cognition and an object of cognition, respectively. Buddhism uses the term ”dependent origination” (Jp engi) to describe symbiotic relations. Nothing - no one - exists in isolation. The method of interactive observation in the human sciences is based on Buddhist epistemoloy, i.e. engi's cognition.
