As a continuation of the previous report, the bending plasticity of phosphor bronze sheets that were cold-rolled and then annealed at temperatures lower than or somewhat higher than the recrystallization temperature is described. The samples that were used in the present investigation include those with somewhat finer grains than the samples used in the previous study. The result of bending creep study is reported. From the Vickers hardness measurement it is concluded that in Sn-Cu alloys with 8% Sn the transformation α+Cu_3Sn ↔ α+Cu_<31>Sn_8 probably takes place at a temperature around 375℃. Finally, the effect of increasing the phosphorus content on the bending plasticity of phosphor bronze sheets is studied. The bending permanent set is increased when the phosphorus content exceeds about 0.4%.
