In this paper, I propose the method to illustrate the degree of geostrophic balance. This method is composed of two parts, one is to compare the real vertical flow velocity with the predid one calculated from the density data on the geostrophic approximation, another is to compare the APCP data with CTD data. In the former comparison or the latter one, if the degree of its agreement is stronger, and the current gets nearer to the geostrophic one. As a result, we predided the vertical flow velocity calculated from the geostrophic balance equations. We also predicted that the Kuroshio current in the East China Sea west of Okinawa was in the baroclinic by calculating from mass conservative equation.
