In this paper,at first,a new active-R circuit for simulating an ungrounded inductance is presented. The performance of the circuit is based on the gain-bandwidth product of the operational amplifire. The circuit, which employs only one operational amplifire and one resistor, is series combination of a unilateral inductance having a grounded resistor at the output port. The inductance can be used to replace each floating inductance in 2nd-order LC prototype tilters. The resulting filters are suitable for low-Q and high frequency (the order of 10^5Hz) applications. These filters have low parameter sensitivities and can be achieved independent canter frequency and Q control by a single resistor. Finally, design of both notch and all-pass filters are reported together with experimental verifications.
