In the orthogonal coordinate plane, given two points V, P_1 satisfying some conditions, then a quadratic function with graph C such that V is the vertex of C and C passes through P_1 is determined. In this paper, assuming the parabola C does not intersect the x-axis, we construct geometrically the imaginary intersections of C and the x-axis in the complex plane in the sense of Hamilton. Such construction is also applied to the triple I a line, which is parallel to the ;y-axis and two points satisfying some conditions.
