Numerical simulation is carried out on ion motion in a Q-machine plasma which has a localized strong radial electric field and potential oscillation of flute mode in the peripheral region, and no oscillation in the inner region. It is found that ions move widely inward and outward, and a possibility is shown that this wide motion can explain a part of diffusion of the inner plasma.
