There are two major purposes in the present thesis. In the first place, we aim to count out the visible physical movements of counselors and their clients seen in an experimental counseling situation. In the second, this study aims to try to divide the counseling pairs into three groups with the aid of Tabata's "Psychotherapeutic Experience Inventory" and to examine the statistical difference of the numbers of the movements between high-score group and the lowscore one. In the procedure of comparison between the two, we found that the numbers of the movements of the high-score group change in a consistent way in harmony with the therapeutic process and that of the low-scored do not. Another major finding is that the number of the movements of counselors and clients is influenced by his inner attitude and emotioal state.
