A shell type equations is derived from 2d Navier-Stokes equations in wave number space. The system is composed of a reduced wave number set which simulate a spiral vortex. Wave number shells are divided by logarithmically scaled radii with a ratio of the golden mean around the origin. The model exibits energy transfer from large wave number modes to small wave number modes.
