In this paper, I set up "Intercultural Noise" and analyze the mis-communication between Japanese and Chinese learners of Japanese. I assume that while Japanese belong to a High-context culture (Hall, 1993), Chinese belong to a Low-context culture : this leadsto different, interpretations between Japanese and Chinese, which causes Chinese speaker's overlooking signs of "declining" when speaking Japanese. According to this assumption, I have researched the difference in interpreting such expressions as 'iidesu', 'chotto', and others by questionnaires. The outcome shows that they almost adjusted to Japanese communication patterns, but there are, in fact, still some misunderstunding. Therefore, I propose they need to be aware of other cultural patterns by cultural training in the process of learning Japanese.
