We obtain the joint probability density function for some two linear order statistics from the one parameter exponential population. This joint probability density function is used on the computation for the probability of reversal associated with a test procedure when data are missing or censord samples. The concept of the probability of reversal has been defined by Ogawa and Pasternack^<1)>, but in the present paper we treated in the sence that defined by §1,that is, it is used ordered observation instead of random observation. In the present paper, we find the probability of reversal type I, type II for some best linear unbiased estimater of scale parameter, σ, of the one parameter exponential distribution in small samples when null hypothesis H : σ=σ_0,alternative hypothesis K : σ>σ_0,and special cases are tabulated for various sample size n.
