慶應義塾大学産業研究所行動科学研究モノグラフ ; No. 46. 研究人材マネジメント : 最終報告The aim of this paper is to describe the functioningof French innovation system througha case study of information technologyindustry. For this purpose, I intend to use theconceptual framework of "national system ofinnovation", more and more legitimized in thefield of Economics of Innovation. Indeed, theeconomic literature became, from the mid-80's,clearly interested in such a concept (Freeman1987, Nelson 1992, Lundvall 1992, Edquist1997), to explain new trends of economic activitybased on the knowledge incorporated inscience and technology. It is out of the scopeof this paper to discuss about all characteristicsof this literature. Although composed bydifferent schools, this economic literatureshows certain convergence in its approaches.It seems profitable, for my own analysis, tohighlight some common aspects that couldserve as guideline.
