On the ultrasonic machining, the machining clearance between tool and machined hole always exists. In this paper it is shown that this machining clearance is generated as the path of abrasives which should be fed to the tool's working end, and the magnitudes of the real machining clearance of super hard alloy and oil stone are indicated. In order to determine the accuracy of die making by ultrasonic machining, the machining clearance of the super hard alloy are measured, and the accuracy of forming of grinding wheel, the machining clearance of oil stone are measured. By this experiment author asserts that the accuracy of die making and grinding wheel forming by the ultrasonic machining are sufficient in spite of this machining clearance, if we determine carefully the tool's material, dimension and working condition.
