We propose the neutrino induced diffractive production of vector and pseudoscalar mesons as a powerful tool to study the nonperturbative structure of these mesons. As an example, we report a first theoretical study for diffractive productions of heavy pseudoscalar-meson, η_c, off a nucleon via the weak neutral current. Constructing the light-cone Z^0 wave function perturbatively, we evaluate the forward production cross section of η_c based on QCD factorization. The production amplitude provided by the transversely polarized Z^0 is shown to vanish in the large s limit. Resulting η_c production cross section is about 20 times as large as that of J/ψ. We also discuss the production of the bottomed quark system, η_b.
