A design of solenoid magnetic coil system for experiments on turbulent heating of plasma is presented. Radial expansion of the coils due to high magnetic pressure (50 atm.) is suppressed by the conductor of the coil and epoxi resin pulus FRP (fiber reinforced plastics) by filamental winding method. The characteristics of the coil system are as follows : inner diameter 25 cm, outer diameter 33 cm, length of the system 200 cm. Uniformity of the field on the axis is less than 5%. By using 288 kJ condenser bank, the strength of the field is 25 k gauss with a period of 12 msec. While the mechanical strength limits the field strength up to 50 k gauss.
