環境意識と環境保全行動の選択要因に関する考察 : 高校生の環境意識分析を中心に

This paper explores the formative factors of the environmental consciousness of high school students by analyzing the relations between the consciousness and actions for environmental conservation. From the viewpoint of the formation of pupils '/students 'environmental consciousness, the concept of aims of environmental education is examined first. Secondly, the relations between pupils '/students ' environmental consciousness and the nature experiences are analyzed. Finally the factors of high school students ' consciousness of environmental conservation are explored based on the factor analysis. The main findings are as follows : (1)the quantity of nature experiences tends to correlate with actions for environmental conservation, (2)there are gender differences in environmental conservation actions with the larger number of girls more active being environmentally-oriented, (3)"nature experience" and "attitude toward environment" are found as the selective factors of environmental actions. These findings suggest the children and young people should be immersed in nature more often to play more active parts in environmental conservation.
