H_∞-Optimal Control with Measurement Feedback for Nonlinear Distributed Parameter Systems

This paper discusses the standard H_∞ optimal control problem with dynamic measurement-feedback for a class of nonlinear infinite dimensional systems. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of H_∞ suboptimal controller are derived in terms of two Hamilton-Jacobi equations. In view of realistic situations, the partial observation of the system is treated. Under this framework it is demonstrated that the given problem is solved and a feedback controller is obtained using duality and potential functions.
