概要

• A new baryon mass formula is proposed. The formula is based on a composite model as an extended version of the statistical model proposed by Nagasawa and Yasue. The present model has three "strings", which are represented by linear potentials and each of which has one quark at their edges. A comparison of the mass spectrum which is given by the formula with experimental data indicates a fairly good agreement.
