Overall view of the plan of the ERA research in Institute of Plasma Physics, Nagoya University at present and in future is given. The assembly of ERA systems has the components of a field emission high intensity electron gun, a single RF cavity or an induction linac as a post accelerator, and a compression system located in a large vacuum chamber. At the preliminary experiment, an electron beam of 1 kA and of 1 MeV will be injected into a static betatron field of 200 gauss and an electron ring formed will be compressed to be of 10 MeV by a rising magnetic field. A brief discussion of RF acceleration of high intensity charged bunch is also given.
