Traveling wave multiple mirror confinement of high temperautre plasma for fusion application was examined by theoretical discussion using a diffusion equation. It was shown that confinement time and plasma density in the traveling wave multiple mirror field were several hundreds times longer and higher than those in the static multiple mirror field.
