• An electron bombardment detector for fast neutral particles has been accomplished and calibrated for time-of-flight energy analyzer of plasma diagnostics. The ion output is proportional to the incident number of neutral particles at the range of 10^7∿10^<10> particles/sec. Overall detection efficiency of the system for thermal hydrogen is n∿0.5. Response time of the detector is 5×10^<-6> sec.
