Elastic fibers in three layer groups in the media, namely, the inner, the middle and the outer layers, were examined with the chromaticity coordinate system. In WKY, the inner layer was the least bluish and the brightest among the three layers. The middle layer was the most bluish. In SHRSP, the colors of three layers became similar, showing a shift toward reddish gamut, and that the inner layer decreased the excitation purity compared to that in WKY. The brightness, as the index for the density, of three layers became equal by the increase in the other two layers up to the level of the inner layer. In conclusion, the properties of three elastic layers in SHRSP became similar in more reddish color qualitatively, and in the lowered density quantitatively, compared to that in WKY.
