In this study, the mechanical properties of nanocrystalline Ni–Fe alloy are evaluated at various current densities in the electroforming process. The results indicate that the finer grain size of Ni–Fe alloy leads to the enhancement of its hardness, which is above 9 GPa, and the elastic modulus is approximately 316 GPa obtained by controlling current density. A finer grain size of Ni–Fe alloy can induce the formation of dense Ni–Fe alloy and improve the mechanical properties of Ni–Fe microstructures.
