Electron emission from polyvinylidenefluoride (PVDF) ferroelectric substance by polarization inversion was observed. To realize the electron emission, a semiconductive C-Au-S film of approximately 1 nm thickness was coated on the PVDF surface with a tooth-type electrode of evaporated Al. After polarization of the PVDF surface, a negative impulse voltage with a voltage higher than the coercive voltage was applied to the flat-type electrode on the reverse side of the PVDF surface in a vacuum. Then the emitted electron was detected by a probe in front of the tooth-type electrode. The detected charge was $6.1 \times 10^{-12}$ C.
