Various experimental methods are currently employed for determining the trap parameters of an isolated thermoluminescence (TL) glow peak. In this work, a new method is described to obtain the trapping parameters in sequence of a TL glow peak starting with the order of kinetics b, the activation energy E (eV), the frequency factor S ( s-1) and finally the initial concentration of trapped electrons n° ( cm-3). In the present work, an equation is suggested to estimate directly the order of kinetics b. Also, the possibility of obtaining S ( s-1) in the case of general-order kinetics is discussed. Finally, a simple analytical method is developed to obtain the relative value of n° ( cm-3).
