• Evacuated Glazing named SPACIA has been successfully developed. Its structure, which was originally designed by Collins et. al at the University of Sydney, has been modified from the viewpoint of the mass production and the requirement of the Japanese market. In this report, mechanism of thermal insulation in the evacuated glazing is discussed based on the structure, and the performance as a practical window is described.
